DEMONSTRATION BY WINNERS FROM SCOTTISH PRIZE FOR FINE ART

The last chance to see The Scottish Prize for Fine Art exhibition.
LEWIS MACKENZIE
&
ALASTAIR EUAN BLAIN

Watch as Alastair Euan Blain, winner of the Wallace-Seymour prize at SPFA, begins a painting using Earth Pigments and hand-crafted materials, to create a Timeless Landscape. Integrating sketches from Nature, Memory, and Imagination, with a grounding in the Tradition of Landscape Painting.
Alastair displays an initiative and layered approach in contemplation of the 'Poetry of the Land'. Watch as the Story unfolds.

We then have Lewis MacKenzie won the overall prize from the SPFA and was recently featured on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year. He will show his sketching skills by featuring a piece from John Sargent.

This promises to be an interesting evening with these talented artists. There will also be an opportunity to win the demonstration pieces.

Tickets are priced at £10 per person.
This event is free for members of The Glasgow Art Club.
