This painting is one of a series of Galloway landscapes which I have created in a vista format. The format was inspired when I visited the Australian Impressionist exhibition at The National Gallery.

A scene I came across whilst visiting Kelvingrove. I want to try and portray the concentration of the artist and that at that moment only the bust existed for the artist.

One in the series of paintings depicting women wearing a Venetian mask and a Renaissance style dress.

Inspired by travel in Japan I work from recollection. I draw places together and arrange as a movement of memory.

I explore places visited through tokens and paper scraps collected during travel in Japan. I arrange and represent completed fragments to create the whole.

Painted from a photo I took from a scheduled flight returning home to Glasgow. The snow and shadows bring out the best of the Red Road Flats. I lived there for two years. The flats were all demolished by 2015. Painted partially as a counter-point to the famous ‘Windows in the West’ by Avril Paton.…
