Description

Painted from a photo I took from a scheduled flight returning home to Glasgow. The snow and shadows bring out the best of the Red Road Flats. I lived there for two years. The flats were all demolished by 2015. Painted partially as a counter-point to the famous ‘Windows in the West’ by Avril Paton. On exhibition in the main gallery until Saturday 11th November as an entry for the Scottish Prize for Fine Art.
