Important Covid-19 Update

The outbreak of Covid-19 in the UK, and globally, is deeply concerning, and the health and safety of our members, staff, visitors, partners and all whom we work with as a Club is absolutely paramount. The core intention of the measures outlined below is to minimise the risk to members and visitors (particularly those in high risk groups).

In the light of announcements and advice from both the UK and Scottish Governments regarding the coronavirus pandemic, the Council of the Club has decided to proceed with closing the Club from 15.00 on Friday 20 March until further notice.

The majority of the Club’s office-based staff will be working remotely from home. To that end, I strongly encourage you, where possible, to use e-mail (as opposed to the telephone or post) as your primary means of communication with the Club.

Enquiries regarding Clubhouse bookings and events should be sent to dan@glasgowartclub.co.uk and enquiries on other matters should go to secretary@glasgowartclub.co.uk

All events and talks have been postponed until further notice. If you have booked for one of our events or talks you should expect to hear from us in the next couple of days.

Our objective is to minimise disruption to members and other users of the Club, through adjustments such as remote working, although we recognise that the loss of Clubhouse facilities will be a disappointment to many. However, this is a challenging period for us all and I would appreciate your patience during these unprecedented times.

We will continue to update our social media and website as new developments occur.
