This landscape is based on a photo taken on our recent trip to Iceland. I was so excited to see these famous sea stacks. It was a lovely composition with the three riders mimicking the stacks. All were silhouetted against the November afternoon sky. I have exaggerated the colours to give the feeling of joy.

Looking westwards in the upper reaches of Glen Affric with a degree of artist’s licence. The painting is set in a light ivory mount within a 100 x 60cm walnut stained frame and protected by non-reflective glass.
