Description
Berneray’s West Beach extends the full length of the island, from north to south. A beautiful, continuous strand of bright white sand with glorious clear aquamarine / green waters; rarely do you have to share the beach with another soul.
A wonderful place to get away from it all and breathe.
Each time I visit this beach I want to paint it and each time I paint it, I attempt to capture the stunning colours and scale of this perfect view. I never fail to marvel at its beauty and the almost mesmerising quality of light on the distant hills of Harris.
