Lesley Trim

Lesley Trim graduated from Edinburgh College of Art’s painting school in 1998. Since then she has been painting and exhibiting her work wherever she has lived; Scotland, Germany, Ireland, London and the south east of England.

Born in 1974, she was always interested in painting and creating and initially thought she would like to be a clothes designer, as she made many of her own dresses and outfits as a girl. After her first year at ECA, she realised that painting was her passion and has been doing just that ever since.

Living and working on the west coast of Scotland, Lesley has been captivated by the shore, spending much of her time between Ayrshire and Uist, where she paints the wide expanse of sea, sand and sky. Her palette revolves around the blues and creamy yellows that are a trademark of these landscapes.
