I was born in Glasgow in 1943. I graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in 1965 and went on to lecture in Design at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, where my focus was; fabric design, fashion and organising their annual Fashion Show. I returned to Glasgow in 1968 where I taught art at Hutcheson’s Grammar School and Kelvinside Academy. In 2002 I retired from teaching and volunteered as wardrobe mistress, costume designer and set painter for The Strathclyde Theatre Group.
I love creativity and originality in all things and I have never stopped painting. For the last 10 years have been an artist member of The Glasgow Art Club, where I exhibit and sell work in many different media, size and subject matter.
