Description
A watercolour on Arches rough 400gsm paper made in situ at the side of Gruinard Bay in Wester Ross, Highlands of Scotland. The concept of Plein Air painting is to work quickly to focus in the moment and record not a photograph but a work which retains , through the concentration of the Artist a sense of being in the moment . The drama in the sky with the calm of the beach framing the dramatic mountains of another era in the distance are the intention here.
