About Rory McLauchlan

Born in Ayr, 1960 he studied graphics at Cardonald College, Glasgow from 1978-80. Then went onto study at St Martin’s School of Art, London from1982-85 gaining a BA(Hons) Fine Art. While living in London he worked as a freelance textile designer for various design companies including Kim Clark Design. Since returning to Scotland he has concentrated on painting the land and seascape of Scotland and France which are his main passions amongst a varied and busy portfolio of subject matter. He now regularly exhibits with the RGI, PAI and VAS and shows in a range of galleries throughout the UK.
