A Lecture by Gerard Carruthers – 7:00pm for 7:30pm
Professor Gerard Carruthers occupies the Francis Hutchison Chair of Scottish Literature at Glasgow University. Members will recall his superb “Immortal Memory” at our 2019 Burns Supper. His wide interests include all aspects of Scottish literature and on this occasion, he will talk about one of our own distinguished members, James Bridie.
