Quint-Essential Art – 15th August to 12th September

An interesting and eclectic exhibition staged by five members of the Glasgow Art Club.

Public Access

  • 11am to 5pm Monday to Friday from Friday 15th August to Friday 12th September
  • 11am to 5pm Saturday 23rd August & Saturday 6th September
  • 11am to 6pm Thursday 21st August

Each of the participating artists will be on hand to talk about their work and the techniques they employ as indicated below.

Joe Broadley HPAI PAI who produces work that draws inspiration from the light and colour of European locations as well as the contrasting mood of the Scottish landscape.

Margaret Johnston is an Ayrshire based artist specialising in traditional oil painting, with a focus on figurative and still life work.

  • Meet the artist: Thu 28th Aug 1pm – 4pm

Irene McCann PAI is an award winning artist based in Glasgow who works predominantly with oil on linen.

  • Meet the artist: Thu 28th Aug 11am – 3pm

John Rowland working with his sister Sarah Dabell  present ‘Silken Thread’, a set of works reflecting the culture and scenery of Central Asia.

  • Meet the artists: Thu 21st Aug 1pm – 6pm

Florence Sinclair M – is an oil painter and printmaker who graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Madrid.
