Description
Sweet Treats (2023) is a ceramic sculpture, voicing the humour and absurdity of the everyday. Why not have a sweet treat?
The work makes use of bizarre non-objects, fake food, pointing to the artificiality of nature and wide spread over consumption. Encapsulated in clay, the sculpture looks outwards, to notions of temptation, marketing, social class and nostalgia. Do you want strawberry or chocolate?
