Description
‘Painting of a brick in the shape of a brick’ is the precise representation of a brick of the same size from the attic of the house in Glasgow in which I live. A small amount of material was taken from one of the bricks and the pigment applied with egg tempera as a binder on canvas. The base of the brick box consists of plywood. The painted brick is mounted on a OSB Sterling board and covered by a perspex case.
