Description
The Bosphorus Strait links the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara which in turn links to the Aegean via the Dardanelles another straight separating Asian and European Turkey. Constantinople, previously Byzantium and now the City of Istanbul straddles the Bosphorus at its southern end. This composite view deriving from a number of photos that I took on a visit last year depicts in silhouette the Aya Sofya and Blue mosque on the European side and Maiden Tower and two further mosques on the Asian side. Set in walnut stained step frame with a non reflective ‘Art Glass’ glazing.
