Suzzie Swan

About

The Scottish artist, Suzzie Swan (Suzzie Q) was born in Dundee in 1970.  She attended Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen (1988-1992) where she gained her honours degree .

Having lived and worked in the North East of Scotland for many years, Suzzie  now lives with her family i in Perthshire and works as an art lecturer, teaching a variety of mediums to her students.

Her work has been exhibited on occasion in Aberdeen Art Gallery and Perth Art Gallery, Pitlochry – a solo show held in Carse of Gowrie at Cairn o Mohr winery  but mainly her work has been bought by private collectors- one as far afield as MIlan.

Her most recent work has been inspired by the landscape and environment around her and her family – She has a passion for woodland areas – the way the light interacts and the textures and the colours – present;y enjoying working in pastels but enjoys using a variety of mediums including acrylic.oils and watercolour

Now her family are all up and away she plans to devote more time to her own work rather than just teaching others.
