About
Johann Booyens is a Glasgow based artist and printmaker. His work is concerned with the increasingly complex relationship between humans and their natural environment, the liminal space between culture and nature, and the complexities of human being. His work can be seen in several international public collections including the V&A Museum London, Chinese Museum of Art and Culture in Beijing, as well as the IPEP collection in India. He has participated in numerous group shows and printmaking portfolios and collaborate with other artists exploring new ideas and techniques. He has a Masters degree in the arts (Cum Laude) and have been teaching and practicing since 2007.x
