Description

George IV Bridge is such a prime spot, perched between Old Town and New Town, with views that seem to reveal layers of history at every turn. The rooftops of Edinburgh are absolutely iconic, especially when you get the chance to take them in from a high vantage point. The mix of steeply pitched roofs, spires, chimneys, and the intricate architectural details really give the city a distinctive character.
There’s always something new to discover in Edinburgh, whether it’s the silhouette of the Castle above or the elegant lines of a forgotten alleyway. The quirky angles of buildings, the varied facades, and the cobbled streets feel like something out of a storybook. The city has been such an inspiration for writers, artists, and photographers over the centuries.
