She has a long-standing interest in Scottish art and design, seen in her many publications and exhibitions, notably on the career of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Most recently she was Expert Advisor to the Willow Tea Rooms Trust and its revitalisation of the Mackintosh building at the Willow.
