Dining Room

The Glasgow Art Club dining room which is bright, airy and spacious overlooks Bath Street and is open daily Monday to Saturday from 12.00pm until 2.00pm for lunch. The menu is altered on a regular basis to accommodate seasonal produce, most of which is organic and all of which is locally sourced and delivered on a daily basis.

Members are welcome to book a table for lunch but only a limited number of tables may be booked in advance. Please telephone the office should you wish to do so. The Glasgow Art Club prides itself on its friendliness and hospitality. Members are encouraged to introduce themselves to others in the dining room and should not feel reticent about joining others for lunch.

Lunches and bar bills may be charged to accounts and members are asked to sign their bills before leaving the dining room should they wish to do so.

The dining room may also be used in the evenings for private dinner parties and can accommodate up to 50 people. In addition to hosting the regular lunch service and private parties, the dining room is licensed as a marriage room and has seen a number of wedding ceremonies take place. The room is transformed from the usual restaurant lay out to accommodate a congregation of 100 people.

Club Opening Hours

Opening hours Monday to Thursday & Saturday 10.00am – 8.00pm Friday 10.00am – 10.00pm. Suppers are available most evenings and if you would like to make use of the club later in the evenings, please telephone Naoimh or Dan to discuss.

Please also note that as the next few months of trade will include a number of private functions in the Club largely taking over the Gallery, members will be able to use the dining room for evening service and will also benefit from a later bar.

Bar

The Glasgow Art Club bar stocks a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks including a comprehensive collection of Malt Whiskies and around forty wines from around the globe. Specific requirements of almost any brand for functions can largely be accommodated and an arrangement can be met with regard to corkage should members wish to provide their own beverages for events.
