A dangerous past threatens to become deadly, as Paul struggles with unsettling dreams in this thrilling opera noir by one of history’s most remarkable composer prodigies. The version, which Raymond Williamson has kindly agreed to show, stars the world’s outstanding tenor, Jonas Kaufmann. The opera is less known than many but is very lyrical and enjoyable. A light supper will be served during the interval.
