Life Drawing Sessions at Glasgow Art Club

Autumn Life Drawing Sessions at the Glasgow Art Club

The Glasgow Art Club is delighted to offer a six-week series of life drawing sessions in our large and bright purpose built studio in Bath Street, Glasgow.

The aim of the sessions is to explore the beauty and complexity of the human form through observation of the life model using appropriate drawing media.

We are happy to invite applications from senior pupils, students, amateurs and professionals alike in the hope of creating a mutually beneficial learning environment for participants at all levels through sharing ideas and experience. The tutor will be on hand to offer advice and support where necessary.

Studio easels will be provided and advice will be given regarding which drawing materials to purchase.

Sessions will run either on Wednesdays, 6.30pm – 9.30pm or Thursdays, 1pm – 4 pm in the club studio (with coffee break). Both options are on offer at this point in order to ascertain the most popular dates and times; however in the event of a substantial uptake for both options we will run both courses.

A maximum of ten places are available per course, on a first come first served basis. A firm commitment to the whole six weeks from the outset would be appreciated. Early booking is advised as we expect places to fill fast.

Tutor: Chick McGeehan artist and educator.

Class fees are £25 per session or a discounted £125 advanced payment for the full six weeks.
The three hour sessions will run weekly for six weeks from 27/28 September.
