Ayrshire based Artist Margaret Johnston graduated from the Glasgow College of Building & Printing as an lnterior/ Exhibition Designer. Five years as Exhibition designer with Paisley Museum during which time designed the Paisley 500 Exhibition, opened by HRH the Queen. Since 2011 has ran her own art gallery through Costley Hotels whilst employed as Marketing Manager for the group. She has also hosted a stand at the Glasgow art fair and holds frequent art events in Ayrshire and Glasgow. Margaret is now focusing on her own work in oil painting and has a WASP studio in thCe Artist courtyard in Irvine. Her subjects are mainly portraiture and still life.
