Description
Based on one of a series of black and white images taken of Jane Morris in 1865, by John Parsons and posed/styled by Dante Gabriel Rossetti, a founding member of the pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. Morris was a muse of Rosetti’s, considered to be the epitome of beauty, and wife of William Morris, doyen of the Arts and Crafts movement.
