Description

In 1920 the Mackintosh’s spent time with their friends the Newbery’s (Fra Newberry) in the Dorset village of Corfe Castle after Fra Newbery’s retirement from the Glasgow School of Art. Although is nor known to have painted the castle itself he did produce work depicting the nearby village of Worth Matravers. Framed in great stained box frame.
