Thursday 25th July – Art Demonstration – Samanatha McCubbin
Samantha was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1988. A creative person from a young age, she discovered her love of painting during her final year of studying Art and Design at The University of Leeds. Since graduating she has continued to paint and develop her own unique style.
Samantha will demonstrate an abstract floral painting using oil paints. She will focus on colour, texture and gesture using a controlled but spontaneous application of paint.
She is not looking to paint an exact representation of a flower but instead, use the interesting and versatile qualities of the oil paint to create the painting. Samantha loves the element of surprise!
The Club will be open for refreshments before the demo and close at 9 pm.
