Lynn is an award-winning Scottish artist who specialises in the medium of pastel for her figurative, portrait interiors and landscape work. Over the past 13 years, she has developed a deep and abiding passion for the medium of soft pastel and charcoal.
Lynn recently retired from teaching art at Strathclyde University, where she taught Life Drawing, Stage 2 Drawing and Painting and Learn to Draw classes for the past 10 years. She is regularly asked to do demonstrations for various art groups all over Scotland and abroad.
Lynn is a pastel artist whose work captures the quiet intensity of human emotion through the delicate medium of soft pastels. She aims to capture not only a likeness in her portraits but also to create an emotional connection to her model.
