Reginald MacDonald BA (Hons)

Born in Canada in 1992, Reginald MacDonald studied Sculpture and Environmental Art at the Glasgow School of Art. Graduating in 2014, he lost his degree show during the infamous Mackintosh School Fire but went on to study sculpture under the Atelier system at the Florence Academy of Art.

In Italy he developed a passion for beautiful traditional figurative sculpture and reinvented his artistic practice. Currently, Reginald works with clay, plaster and bronze in a distinctive Neoclassical style. With his love of history and myth, each artwork is invested with a combination of traditional skill and aesthetic value.

As a young artist with a love for antiquity, gaining membership and exhibiting with the Glasgow Art Club in 2015 was a cherished event in his career.
