About
Graeme is an artist and designer originally from Orkney, now working from The GalGael Trust in Govan, Glasgow. He studied interior & environmental design at Duncan of Jordanstone college of Art and Design in Dundee, graduating in 2012. He is a cabinet maker by trade while developing and prototyping his own range of experimental and sculptural work, often in the form of limited edition furniture. He primarily works with wood but has recently begun to connect traditional vernacular techniques from Orkney to modern materials such as plastic that he continues to research and explore as he works here in Glasgow.
