About
Ian Campbell is a Scottish artist who’s work is imbued with west coast tradition, and specialises in figurative, landscape, and portrait pieces, in a variety of media. He studied at the Glasgow School of Art and graduated in 1979. Since then his art work has been exhibited in the Royal Scottish Art Exhibition, the Royal Glasgow Institute, Paisley Drawing Exhibition, as well as various private galleries throughout the UK. He has also dedicated over thirty years to teaching art and design in both secondary and primary schools across central Scotland, and now in retirement has a renewed focusing on form and colour in his work
