Probably one of the best kept secrets of Glasgow is the impressive gallery with it’s original fireplaces and wooden panelling.

The Gallery is host to a wealth of events and can accommodate almost any occasion.

With room to seat up to 100 people for lunch or dinner it is the perfect setting for a wedding reception, a birthday or anniversary celebration.

Many corporate events are held every year in the gallery such as the Citizens Theatre Annual Lunch, The RGI Varnishing Dinner, Epilepsy Scotland’s Charity Exhibition & Auction and many, many more.

Regular Glasgow Art Club events which take place in the gallery include the Annual Burns Supper, musical recitals from students of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Ceilidh nights, seasonal dinners and party nights, and of course the monthly exhibition openings which feature a large number of works by Artist Members available to purchase by members, guests and visitors alike.

When the gallery is not being transformed into a venue for an event, you will find it a peaceful setting to sit and read the daily papers, have a drink with friends or coffee after lunch, or simply to relax in front of the fire. Business should not be conducted in the gallery in order to preserve the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.
