Facilities



The Glasgow Art Club’s main purpose is to promote the arts through public exhibitions, life classes, collecting arts publications, hosting lectures and performances.


As well as members, local charities, voluntary groups, arts societies groups, individuals and organisations regularly hold events at the club.


With room to seat up to 100 people for lunch or dinner it is the perfect setting for a wedding reception, a birthday or anniversary celebration.


There is a range of facilities available for Members to enjoy and these can also be booked to hold a special event: -

Dining Room & Bar

The Dining Room has a reputation for its excellent food and extensive wine list. The Bar offers a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

The Gallery

The Gallery is the home of the various Exhibitions hosted by the Club but can be transformed into a place to host a wealth of events and special celebrations.

Reception Room

The reception room on the ground floor is available to hire for meetings, private lunches and dinners for up to 12 people.


Library

Situated on the first floor overlooking Bath Street, the Library contains a large collection of books on Art, Architecture and associated biographies of every period. This room is also available to hire for meetings, private lunches and dinners for up to 20 people.


Studios

One of the Studios at the Glasgow Art Club  

The studios on the second floor are available for use by artist members.  They are also available for hire for lay and non-members. A life-drawing group meets on a regular basis in the main studio.
