About Charles JamiesonCharles studied at Glasgow School of Art in the early seventies after which, with the aid of two scholarships, he carried on his studies at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. Upon returning to this country he started working in both the performing and visual arts, which he continues to do. His work is featured in many collections across the world including Ernst + Young, the R.I.C.S, the Kuwaiti Royal family, John Le Carré, Harry Enfield, the Prudential and Lord and Lady Macfarlane. He is Chairman of The Aspect Prize (a major art prize for Scottish painting) and is Past President of The Paisley Art Institute. He spends a lot of his time travelling abroad and painting. His work encapsulates his love of travel and the delight of discovering new imagery. Charles exhibits in a wide range of galleries including The Mansfield Park Gallery, Thompsons Galleries London and Aldeburgh, Duncan R Miller Fine Arts London, The Lime Tree Gallery Suffolk, The Richmond Hill Gallery and The Manor House Gallery in the Cotswolds.
